Our stay with 4 adults and 4 children in this beautiful property was really successful. The location on the hill in a quiet residential/holiday area overlooking the sea about 15 minutes walk is just perfect. Everything is within walking distance - the beach, a small supermarket, bakery, pizzeria and of course the communal pool, to which several holiday homes have access. Pool hours are from 10-13am and from 3-30pm. The journey from the airport with the rental car was extremely uncomplicated in about 20 minutes. There was a parking space at the house and for our second car it was completely unproblematic to find another car park in the immediate vicinity. There were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, as well as a large living area with kitchenette. The kitchen is well-equipped, everything is there that you need and the large table on the great terrace can accommodate about 8 people. In general, the equipment is remarkable, from dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue, cooler, to sand toys for the children, everything is really available that you need. The contact with the landlady Barbara was very, very friendly and you always got a fast answer with questions. Roberto is the on-site contact person and he was reliable and very, very friendly and helpful. We had a really terrific time and would book again immediately.
We had a lovely stay at the villa, beautiful views and garden. All facilities that we needed with a lovely sunny terrace. Well situated in Pittulongu for local beach, shop and pizzerias. Pool was really clean and a welcome relief from the heat. Plenty of places to visit north and south of the villa, Sardinian has some fantastic beaches and Sassari only 10 mins drive away was one of our favourites.

Very nice house with plenty of space, nice pool and great views. Everything went smoothly with the landlords and they gave good information for the trip. Will definitely think about renting again in August.
Mycket bra hus, gott om utrymme, trevlig pool och fantastisk utsikt. Alla flöt på smidigt med såväl uthyrare och mottagare på plats som information inför resan. Kan absolut tänka mig att hyra igen.
Stayed for a week with my wife and 2 friends. Villa is lovely and quiet, Pittulongu very nice. Mama's beach restaurant the best ! small problem with broadband access, quickly handled by agent and owner ( thanks). frequent buses into Olbia, but restaurants in pittulongu seemed much better beach and local restaurants and cafes all easily walkable to from villa
Great location and excellent Villa. Within driving distance to multiple areas North and South of Olbia. Short hop to/from airport. Sea Views. Walking distance to nearest beaches if able bodied. Need a car if you want to see the island and visit umpteen possible beaches. However good map reading skills needed as the Signage to certain locations were there, then they they wern't! The Villa was perfect for our requirements for a complete stress break, nice and quiet only issue is mossies!. But these exist, so take relevant precautions and common sense. Pool at complex was good only 30 metres from Villa, Lifeguard and especially good for young kids.I can recommend the best-airport-transfers.com site for pick up and drop off at Airport. Cheapest we found and excellent service. Local and nearest bigger Supermarket (towards Olbia) good choice for supplies and good value. Prices very good. Overall cheaper than UK, especially if buying local produce. If you want a chill holiday this is worth a visit. Sardinia and the people great!
======= My family and I stayed in this villa in August this year. We were a group of 6 adults (aged between 26-60), 1 child and 1 baby. Everyone had an absolutely fantastic time at the Mansion on the hill. The resort of Pittulongu (where the villa is situated) is a beautiful area, with endless beaches to choose from. There is also a selection of restaurants and cafés (which are all lovely) and a small supermarket within a few minutes walk. The villa itself has everything you need on your holiday!
(We especially enjoyed cooking in the sun on the outdoor, built in BBQ and eating on the terrace and watching the beautiful sunset) Barbara & Arnold (the villa owners) couldn't of been any more helpful throughout the whole process right from initial enquiries, to replying to queries we had just prior to going. Whilst in the villa, there is a local agent named Roberto who again was extremely happy to help make our holiday a fantastic one. Sardinia itself is a lovely island, and everyone there is very friendly! We didn't have a hire car for this trip, and although we had a fantastic time and it didn't cause us a problem, I would strongly advise getting a hire car so you can visit many of the surrounding landmarks with ease. Furthermore, there is a larger supermarket about 10mins drive away with a greater selection and so a car is useful if you are "stocking up" or doing a bulk shop for your stay at the villa. Overall, I cannot recommend this villa enough and we have all said as a family we would love to go back. Booking villas direct with the owners can be a apprehensive task compared to booking "regular holidays" with a travel agent. However, with this villa and it's owners you can be happy knowing that you will have a fantastic holiday and have nothing to worry about! Steve
Mansion on the hill is absolutely a great home! It is a very comfortable house, with beautiful views over the sea. There is a veranda all over the length of the house with nice chairs and stunning views. The beds are good and there is complete kitchenware.
Mansion on the hill is absoluut een geweldig huis! Het is een zeer comfortabel huis, met een prachtig uitzicht over de zee. Er is een veranda over de hele lengte van het huis met prettige stoelen en een schitterend uitzicht. De bedden zijn goed en er is een zeer complete keukenuitrusting.
We lived in the villa for almost a month. The most pleasant impressions and memories. It was especially nice to watch the sunset from the terrace. Magnificent great terrace. The furniture was cosy and stylishly furnished. The villa itself had comfortable rooms. The communal pool did not spoil the impression and it took about 10 minutes to walk to the sea about 1km away. Convenient position, I would like the hostess to inform the guests of the GPS co-ordinates. In all other respects we are grateful to Barbara for the opportunity that was created for holidays with children.

И сама вилла произвела впечатление уютной и стильно обставленной. Удобно было во всех комнатах. Общий бассейн не портил впечатление, как и дорога до моря , около 1 км. Удобное расположение относительно магазинов. Хотелось бы, чтобы хозяйка сообщала гостям координаты GPS. А во всем остальном, мы признательны Барбаре за созданную возможность для отпуска с детьми.
