There are so many excellent restaurants that it is impossible to list them all. The local specialities are fish, including sea food, but the pasta, pizzas and meat dishes are also superb, and at such low prices, and high quality, that you will find it difficult to return to your local Italian back home.
The Trattoria Sperrittu is a specialist fish only restaurant in Olbia, famous for its traditional style of “meze” fish for hors d’oeuvres. Expect to pay £15-£20 for a 3 course meal.
Ristorante “La Palma” is in the same style as Sperrittu with similar prices. It has the advantage of being on the opposite corner to “Nord Est”, which is the best bar in Olbia by night, and serves probably the best coffee there during the day.
Less than 2 minutes from The Villa are 3 excellent restaurants. Los Squalos is a well known beachfront restaurant serving wonderful food, it does superb pizza, pasta and fish, but is particularly famous for its lobster dishes.
On The Main Pittulongu Beach Is ‘ Mamabeach ‘. By day a perfect place for lunch, ice creams, drinks and hiring of sun beds and by night a superb place for dinner and later for dancing, or just relaxing in the lounge. (see picture on beach page)
On the road to Olbia, just a minute or so past the Hotel Stefanio on the right hand side is the 4 star Lune Lughente Hotel.. Set in the hillside, the view from its outdoor terrace restaurant over the bay of Olbia is truly spectacular. The buffet, including BBQ is varied, delicious, and offers great value. There is also an extensive à la Carte menu that costs about £20.00 for 3 courses.

For breakfast and a lighter meal there is a lovely café called Costa Sarda serving freshly made croissants and bread with super pizzas.
